defective baby toys?

My daughter was Christmas brought a Fisher Price Hop n Pop it was still young then also use it only use it for three Months when dass now a part (the green rattle) and broke it put the long stick in his mouth. Luckily I was with her and managed to get them before they are able to do this itself was damaged. I am wondering what are my rights as I feel this product is defective, because there are hardly used and parts of toys for Babies definitely do not dissolve in their hands. Any help would be very appereciated.
